From 5797f5542b687b73ebdd8613f64ce0f38e637b55 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Matthew Hodgson Date: Thu, 12 Jul 2018 01:32:39 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] WIP to announce deleted devices over federation Previously we queued up the poke correctly when the device was deleted, but then the actual EDU wouldn't get sent, as the device was no longer known. Instead, we now send EDUs for deleted devices too if there's a poke for them. --- synapse/notifier.py | 2 +- synapse/storage/devices.py | 40 +++++++++++++++++++++--------- synapse/storage/end_to_end_keys.py | 16 +++++++++++- 3 files changed, 44 insertions(+), 14 deletions(-) diff --git a/synapse/notifier.py b/synapse/notifier.py index 51cbd66f06..e650c3e494 100644 --- a/synapse/notifier.py +++ b/synapse/notifier.py @@ -274,7 +274,7 @@ class Notifier(object): logger.exception("Error notifying application services of event") def on_new_event(self, stream_key, new_token, users=[], rooms=[]): - """ Used to inform listeners that something has happend event wise. + """ Used to inform listeners that something has happened event wise.
